Last update I received at 5:15 was that it was pouring at the track.

Thunder showers a bit east of the track at the moment

**UPDATE** Showers appear to have stopped. Even though I just live a few miles from the track,maybe I should stay home tonight and watch live updates....

Just heard from Shaw and Danny B at the track. Raining lightly. 37 SC & 33 midgets. Rumor is they are cancelling quals but they would have to run some sort of race to eliminate the extra cars, dont really know what they are doing. I'm headed there shortly.

Ugh - radar on wunderground looks like another hour (more or less) of wet weather.

I am west of ORP 5 miles....rain has stopped..the "big one" has moved through..radar here looks like the rest of the storms are way north.....heading there now.....should be a go!!!

3:20 Pacific update from track - been raining there for nearly an hour. Everyone waiting it out. Radar shows it moving off. Waiting for more info.
