I thought the IOW readers would like to see this photo I took on 11 July 2009 of the "Sweet 16".

Track: Oswego Speedway, New York
Driver: Kelly Miller

Have a good day...see you at the races

Take the wing off and you have what should be the new USAC Gold Crown car, IMO.

That would be a fun car to race.

Might be tough since the Gold Crown looks to run Road Courses. The Engines on the Super's, as you can see, are left side mounted to give these cars more left side weight for turning. Even with straight up stagger, these cars do not turn right very well. Good thought though..

I was hoping that car was still around - it was always one of my favorites. Did not see it at all last year (Hi-Miler, Berlin....)

I really like that car. You can't make it out in the photo, but on the wing is painted; "You laugh because I'm different. I laugh because you're all the same".
