Charlotte, NC (July 21, 2009) – USAC Sprint Car Champion Levi Jones will be featured this week on the hit television show 3 Wide Life. This comes on the heels of a memorable Sprint Week that saw Jones win 2 races and barely edge out Brian Clauson to be crowned Sprint Week Champion. Jones has been featured on the program before, but this will focus more specifically on his career.
“Levi is a guy who has really made a name for himself driving Sprint Cars,” said producer/ director of 3 Wide Life Parker Williams. “He will be the first to tell you that when he started running USAC he was just happy to make the features. Now, winning is his only expectable outcome.”
That is the attitude that landed him a ride with one of USAC’s premier teams – Tony Stewart Racing.
“I know,” said Jones the Olney, IL native, “every guy out there would love to be driving my car. That itself adds to the pressure, but it is also an honor to drive for Tony. I work for a first class organization and I am proud to be a part of this team.”
