I've always been a fan of this Classic Hewitt shot:

Do we have an ID on that first photo, at The Mile? I've got the candidates whittled down to Chuck Booth, Merle Bettenhausen, Arnold Knepper, Jackie Howerton and Rollie Beale.
I know I could just go next door to my brother, The Open Wheel Encyclopedia, but that's cheatin. (though I'll do it if all else fails) |

I'm thinkin' Chuck Booth just based upon what little bit I can see of his helmet. Also, I can't quite see Arnie Knepper or Rollie Beale throwing the old one digit salute. :2: Gonna go check some old programs for a #44 at IFG.
