Were making our first trip to Winchester and Gas City this weekend. Where is the best place to watch from? Best time to get there to get good seats? Were coming from PA. to see some real sprint car racing (no wings).
Thanks, Steve

Steve,

Gas City will be next to impossible to get a top row seat. They allow blankets to be put down for the whole season so they are pretty much taken already. I would try to get there no later than 4:30 PM to try to get an upper row seat. I sit down in toward turn one but you don't want to sit there any lower than half way up. During hot laps and qualifying you will be hit by the track turds.

Winchester is a little different in that they sell season tickets so some of the top row seats are reserved but not all of them. I would plan on getting there by 4:30 as well so you can get a good seat. I prefer sitting in the bleachers on the turn four end of the front straight. Really not a bad seat in the house though.

Hope you enjoy the races and maybe we will run into you at one of the two races. Are you going to venture down to Tri State for the MSCS/PowerI sprint/midget doubleheader on Saturday?

At Gas City you can get a temporary pit pass for the price of a fifty fifty ticket before we fire our motors.

I would sit in either one of the Vista's.

if those are full there is always the Tower Terrace

Thanks for all the quick responses. We are flying into Indy Thursday morning to go to the girlfriends family reunion Saturday so Tri state is out. But we have all day Thursday & Friday to sitesee, hang out and still get to the tracks ontime. I will look you up Tom. Thanks for all the suggestions, now if anyone has a extra race car!!!
Thanks:Steve
