Just wondering how many sprints everyone thinks will be on hand for the extra cash this Friday at Gas City? Still trying to decide which show to attend this weekend.

From the looks of the weather forecast I would say zero. If they do run I would expect the same car count as they normally get with maybe 3 or 4 extras that arent running for points at Bloomington. I still cant understand why people on this board are so hung up on car count especially at tracks like Bloomington, Gas City and Kokomo where they always seem to have a quality field. On Saturdays the cars are spread a little thinner so concerns about a full field at some of those is legit.

I was just wondering if any surprise entries may show up other than a normal Friday?
Not really hung up on it but it makes for some good conversation. Any USAC teams??
Whatever we get other than rain will make for a great show...

Was wondering about car count because its a 2+ hour drive, I can stay local and watch wing cars but I would rather watch a full field of non wing cars. And with the rain forecasted it may affect the car count.

With this purse NON-WING SPRINTS - $2800 TO WIN - $320 TO START I would think that car count shouldn't be a problem. Watch the radar and keep an eye on this board for a cancelation for rain. I think the call is usually made around 1 pm on friday.
