Terry Goff Nets UMRA Win #105 at Mount Lawn

Terry Goff won the 105th UMRA race of his career on Saturday night at the Mount Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Indiana. Terry started tenth in the 25-lap feature and quickly worked his way to the front like a hot knife through butter as he eventually passed his brother Oogie for the top spot. From there he never looked back as he took his second win of the 2009 season, the other came on May 29 at the Gas City I-69 Speedway. Oogie Goff beat Brent Turner for the second spot in a photo finish while Ron Combs was fourth and Brandon Gray came home fifth. Terry Goff was quick time at 16.228. Heat races were won by Terry Goff, Brent Turner, and Oogie Goff.
In edition to the certificate to the Dutch Mill Buffet in Millroy for his win, Terry Goff also received five gallons of fuel courtesy of G&G Oil as the “hard charg er of the race.”
The next race for the UMRA TQ Midgets will be Saturday June 20 at the Anderson Speedway.

Congrats to Terry! 105 wins in any division of racing is a big deal! Sorry I missed it but hey Bass Pro Shops and Jungle Jim's was calling, lol, can't wait to see the UMRA at Anderson this Saturday.
