Former Lawrenceburg promotor Ed Bennett passed Monday morning 5/11/2009 after battling cancer in Florida. He was 77 years old. Ed was originally a resident of Aurora IN during his reign at The Burg in the early to mid 70's. He left behind his loving wife Rozina and two children, Tony and Linda. Ed was a great guy and a good friend to many.
For those of you who knew and remember Ed and, wish to pay your respects, the visitation will be Saturday May 16, 2009 at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan IN. Rest In Peace ED. Another great racer gone. |

Thanks for the info Craig. I didn't know him but I'm sure my Dad did and he will tell me the good stories about Ed. My prayers will be with those left to join him later.

I'm bumping this thread one last time to make sure Ed's friends and acquaintences in the racing community get the opportunity to see it. Thanks for your patience folks.
