May 20th at Kelly's Pub 6 PM. Please help.

Kelly's Pub on May 20th will host a benefit for John Sears, the 1st owner of Kelly's Pub, A long list of drivers have attended Kelly's back in the day and present. If John Sears hadn't started Kelly's a lot of careers might of gone different. Mike Bliss, Tony Stewart, Randy Tolsma, Danny Drinan, Jason Leffler, Rusty Wallace, Bill Simpson and many more hung out at Kelly's and made deals.

May 20th @ 6pm a Wednesday Kelly's will have a silent auction, food and more. Plans are just now being made.
Please pass this on to your friends and everybody come.

John has throat cancer, he has survived the treatment and needs our help. I hope you can attend.

I will update this as details get settled.

Pray for John, if it wasn't for John Sears and Bill Simpson the whole Racin' with D.O. deal wouldn't of happened.

John has been a strong independent man in his life, but has been humbled by his sickness. He isn't asking for help, Kelly's Pub Too is stepping up to show respect to a great man.

D.O., since my Dad had two occurrences of throat cancer, I will certainly add Mr. Sears to my prayers. I know first hand what a battle this can be. Could you provide us with an address to send a donation if we are unable to make the benefit. Thank you!

I dropped a check off at Kelly's Pub Too this past week while I was traveling east. It sounds like this should be a great event, I hope they raise alot of money to help Mr. Sears out. I will continue to keep Mr. Sears in my prayers.

Although I have never met Mr. Sears, I feel the word about this benefit should be kept in the forefront of this busy racing week in Indiana and hope the benefit is a huge success. I applaud everyone working on putting this event on.

The numerous cancer cases in my family over the past 40 years and more recently two of my friends being tested for cancer this past month, have kept the benefit for Mr. Sears fresh in my mind. So I am bumping this thread to page 1.

Hell D O I seen a flyer for this at my bank here in juamestown the word os getting out every where for this event....
