Great video. Too bad it took rubber and only paid $700 to win. That's kind of like advertising against yourselves. Thought process: "Where can I go burn up $500 in tires and get paid half of a regular purse?" "Waynesfield!!!"

HHmmmmm Positve thinking

How about nice to see such a good car count of a non-wing race in the middle of a "Winged state"
If they keep having large car counts I hope they raise the purse to refelct the compition

What ever happened to turning a track over & watering? Oh, I know that's work...can't have that.

It never gets bigger, because it never gets better. Catch 22 I'd say.

A couple of things to consider about the watering.

First, they ran a full show on Saturday night.
Second, it was very warm and windy all day on Sunday
Thrid, the heats started at 6.
Forth, they did put water down to kill the dust even though it did not help.
FInally, it was a SUnday night and I am sure they wanted to get the races over early.

It was still a good night of racing in both the sprints and lates. THe dust was not bad and the wind was blowing away from the stands.

When the nonwinged sprints are their as the headliner which is several times during the year they pay $1000 to win and $175 to start. With a rubber down track you know what we do, strap on the old rubber and burn it up. I guess they could just not put sprint cars on the schedule and then listen to people complain about that. Give them credit for trying to do something different and run on Sunday.
