I've finally got all the photos up from Saturday's race at Lincoln Park Speedway. I've attached a few below, the rest are at: www.careyfoxphotos.smugmug.com

Nice Photos, I have two questions about the photos. Having never been to LPS, the first photo looks to be from the feature, why does the track look like the clay is black? The other question is about the second photo, I have seen the board sign in the background behind JJ Hughes of other photos before, what is this for?

well i cant help ya on the 2nd question but i can on the first question. The track went dry and it was run around the top and then it started to take rubber during the sprint car main. Thus causing the blackness of the clay.

The board sign in the background is just one of the older sponsor billboards that hasn't been renewed for several years. The weather over time has basically kind of just worn the previous lettering off of it.
