I added a new feature to the board... You simply vote Yes or No on whether you liked a post or not. This feature will not reveal who voted. It reads "Did you like this post? Yes | No" If you think the wording needs changed... give me some ideas.

I hope you find it useful.

Bill, you seem to have a bit of time on your hands... While the new features are OK, they're not something that I'd be likely to use......

I'm not sure what the purpose is. Perhaps to censor those whose ideas or opinions are unpopular? I see ideas/opinions on here that I dislike and I see those that I do like. If I have an opinion or idea, regarding a thread, whether or not I agree with or like the post, I will contribute to the discussion. If I have no opinion or have nothing relevant to contribute, I move on to the next thread. I don't think it matters whether people like or dislike a thread or post. If it's vulgar or an "over the top" personal attack, then I expect the board moderators to remove it. Otherwise, let the information, opinions and debates flow freely.

The purpose was to add something that some folks might use... It is that simple. If you choose not to use it... fine.

I fear this feature will discourage the more shy or introverted among us from sharing information or offering often considered and valuable opinions. Too many other forums have become dominated by overconfident show-offs looking only for attention or controversy. The "ignore this thread" feature for our personal use only seems a sufficient and non-contentious way to avoid what each of us doesn't want to revisit.

Lee Booth or Bleephead (as you wish)

Bill, I would just like to say I appreciate all you do on this board whether I make use of it or not. I am VERY glad you are feeling good enough to be on the board. I know all about those cancer treatments, they take a lot out of you and many days you just feel really bad!!! So kuddos to you for being on the board and thinking up new things for us. We are still remembering you in our prayers.
