Midwest ghost track, with pictures

OK, one of the LuvRacing photographers, Tom Botos, recently visted Rockville IN, home of the old Jungle Park Speedway. Took some great pictures and wrote a little article aboutit as well. Got to www.LuvRacin.Com, and visit Tom's page under Writers & Photographers. Not only did Tom take some pictures, he also wrote a little piece on the track. The trac closed for good in 1960, but you'll be surprised as to how well the covered grandstands look after 40 years.
After I saw this, I went and looked it up to see if it was still visible, and it really is. |

this is really cool. my grandmother grew up in that area. heard some interesting stories about it at different shows and such pretty cool place drove by a couple months ago. It would be real cool to be able to race at a place in the hills and woods like that cool stuff.

does anyone have an adress on this place so i can get some driving directons i would like to see this place for my self if possible sounds like a neet place
