Apologies if this has been discussed already. I just ran across it on Winchester's website. Looks pretty cool, those HOSS and Auto Value dudes are FAST!
Love to see them on TV. :thumb Here's the info/link: http://www.winchesterspeedway.com/ |

David, you know better than to trust my memory, but I remember they also did this mustseeracing.com thing for the Little 500 last year and I think also the Midget 400 last year. You could subscribe on line and see it live or watch it on cable outlets on a delay basis. The King of Wings race has suffered from low car counts, usually even less than USAC races there. Cameron Dodson I think has won that race a time or two. |

You are correct on the mustseeracing.com broadcast of the Little 500. As far as the low car count for the King of Wings race at Winchester, I personally feel that the combination of speed and rough race track has contributed more than anything. The track surface is tough on axles and suspension parts and combined with the speed is a scary situation. Even late models and modifieds are affected by the track surface. If memory serves me correctly, Cameron Dodson still holds the track record. I remember seeing him check out in the feature and lap up to like third place a couple of years ago. The AVSS runs without HOSS at Toledo and it also is a high banked but very smooth 1/2 mile track. They get a good car count there for that show so I would have to believe that the racing surface is an issue.

I seen this article myself. My problem is I got fed up with the cable company and got a sattelite. So that puts me out of the cable idea. But it did say it would be carried by varius cable companys.Did I also hear someone say you can SUBSCRIBE to watch this on the computer? If so,how much is subscribing? It probably wouldnt be worth it for me because the only one I would watch is Winchester.I live in Anderson so Ill just drive the half mile across town and watch the little 5.I didnt go to the midget 400 last year because being the first year and wear and tear I didnt figure they would get many cars.Maybe this year tough.

I am hoping the car count improves this year as the Winchester race is on Saturday and then four days later another show at Anderson. After that, you have the Little 500 which several asphalt wing drivers compete in. Since you have all three races so close, maybe we will see more Florida (TBARA) and Southern (USCS) drivers come up to race.
