Favorite track that is no longer around

I am stealing this idea from another thread. In there a comment was brought up about tracks that aren't around anymore.
For me Little Springfield. I thank Joe Shaheen so much for that place, sadly Joe passed away and the track was torn down not long after his passing. That track got me addicted to racing. Sadly it was torn down for a freakin Kmart. Dave Despain asked the question "If you had $100 million dollars and could live out your racing fantasy what would it be? Someone emailed him and said they would buy back the stripmall and rebuild Little Springfield. I didn't catch the name but I was thankful to see that track still have that following after 20+ years of it not being around. Oddly enough, I am only 29 myself and have been to the Springfield Mile, Knoxville, IMS, Spoonriver, Jacksonville Raceway/Morgan COunty Speedway, Macomb Speedway, Ft. Wayne, and just recently Granite City yet to me none of them come close to Little Springfield. |

New Breman. From what I am hearing this track officially joined the list last week via the demolition crew.

I have to go with Little Springfield too. I grew up going to that place on Sunday nights. The Kmart was already there. The Walgreens and McDonalds are where the track was. I also have to list Godfrey,Il. It was another little track with a lot of personality. I hope the Action Track doesn't go the same way.
