RACEceivers for USAC

For anyone wondering about the new RACEceiver for USAC, it is blue and has many improvements over the old raceceiver of a few years ago. The blue is made just for USAC and defaults to UASC's frequency when you put the battery in. The batteries on all the newer raceceivers last 2-3 days not 2-3 hours like before. I think the USAC deal comes with a earbud for about $125.

So does this mean the old units and the other RACEceivers will not work or your not allowed to use them.

No. They work. The new Raceceivers available only through USAC has features not found elsewhere. Most significantly, the memory does not need to be reset when power is lost. This avoids confusion for many drivers where we program the channel back in when they replace the battery. Also, the battery life is significantly longer. The USAC units come with ear buds complete in the package. The pricing is significantly lower than previous packages available though USAC.
