I know I am biased but if you aren't watching the Badger Midget races in 2024 you're missing out. Some of the best racing in the country continues to take place in the series. Most of the races are either live on Badger Racing TV or on FloRacing. Do yourself a favor and tune in when they run.
On a side note, the MARA Midget races are starting to be just about as good. Badger is the sanctioning body for them as well. Last MARA race had 24 cars a new high since the series was revived in 2023.

The Badger races are super under rated. And they honestly aren't very far off National midget speeds. Hats off to Badger for making the change a few years ago and sticking with it. Its great to see B mains at every Badger show. Multiple barn burner finishes this year and we're back to seeing multiple different winners with the series. And a lot of guys challenging for that first win.
On a side note. I have been very critical of the Angell Park track prep this year. So I'm glad to see they brought someone else in this week to get the track prep done. They had an absolute silky smooth racing surface. Last night was old school Angell Park and I hope it sticks around the rest of the year! USAC sprints will put on a banger in a few weeks with a track prepped that way. I'm back to being super excited for that show! |
