Did you run a red 4x at Shadyhill when we raced there after Warsaw closed? If
So I was there too working on the 7h that Scott Fisher drove. Seems like a lifetime ago. |

It was a Shores car that we bought from Rex Jones in Lebanon. He was also the first one to give me a chance to race a Sprint Car

76, it was actually Mark Alderson that was instrumental in getting me to race for Rex. My Dad was great friends with Mark and helped him from back in the early days of Mark running the old Enslow 66 up through his second place in Silver Crown and beyond. Those were the best of times

I once helped crew on a Shores built car, owned by Jack Cookson and driven by Allen Barr, mostly at Paragon and twin cities, won a lot of races back in the day, Boom Boom Cannon, Orville Yeadon, probably a Kinser, good days
Yeadon in his rear engine former indycar

Todd Shores son of Lloyd Shores welded up cars for Spike for many years, he is building two new cars for Joe Dooling. To be driven by Cale Coons son of Jerry Coons Jr.
