And they start later than they used to. I was there when the ran the week after Daytona. Lincoln on Saturday. Grove on Sunday. The fans out there will turn out even if it's cold.

I remember being there in the late 80s after a big snow storm, fans still showed up on opening day with a lot of snow still on the ground.
