This has always been a track I wanted to see. Many times I threatened to go when the Allstars were there. While my principles tell me this is too small of a track for Sprint Cars, I was always intrigued by the sub 10 second laps that they turned there. So my favorite racing series is showing up for 2 days. I’m having a hard time finding an excuse

I have always liked Macon for midgets. Not sure how sprints will do, but figure I will have to see for myself. They seem to run late models with no problems. Plus $10,000 to win is cool. Busy 3 days for the track.
When I was with MOWA...we had a 25-lapper won by Danny Smith that was caution-free in about 5 and a half minutes...
Why go to Macon...
1. You're gonna get a full feature payout and only put 5 miles on your motor...think about that...
2. I flipped all the way down the front straightaway at Macon one night...and I only turned over once...
