STATEMENT REGARDING THE PERRIS AUTO SPEEDWAY 2023 SPRINT CAR SCHEDULE
The Perris Auto Speedway starting on March 18, 2023 will once again be the Home Track to the Amsoil USAC/CRA Series. The PAS will host 8 USAC/CRA events in 2023. At this time, due to the cost of litigation with the Department of Water Resources regarding their future construction in 2023, plus the lack of major sponsorship at this time, the 2023 Oval Nationals will not be on the schedule. It is more important to ensure the Speedway continues to concentrate on the #saveperris efforts!
In addition, the World of Outlaws announced a few weeks ago that they were not coming to California in the spring of 2023.
Perris Auto Speedway's complete 2023 Schedule will be released on December 15, 2023.

Not surprised there is no Oval Nationals this year. If you watched the video a couple of months ago Don Kazarian said 2022 might be the last Oval Nationals at Perris. No major sponsor and a 38% decrease in attendance this year made it risky to even have the 2022 version. Not sure how their attendance was for the regular CRA/USAC shows but let’s say they used to average 2,000 fans at $30, if the crowd was now only 1,240 ( 62% of 2,000) that’s a lose of $22,800 per race. The first 2 nights of previous Nationals never seemed to have big crowds and never heard anyone say this years Saturday night final was a packed house.
