I have looked on the USAC web site and can't fine this.

I know first qualifier starts 6 in heat one and second qualifier starts 6 in heat two and so on. How do heat race positions 1 thru 5 and 7 thru 10 fill in for each heat.

Also how do they decide between 3 or 4 heat races.

https://www.usacracing.com/component...ght-1-2-nov-3-

Heat 1
Qualifiers 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29…

Heat 2
Qualifiers 2, 6, 10, 14, 18, 22, 26, 30…

Heat 3
Qualifiers 3, 7, 11, 15, 19, 23, 27, 31…

Heat 4
Qualifiers 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24, 28, 32…

The fastest 6 qualifiers in each Heat are inverted, the remainder start straight up by time.

Before every USAC National race, there is a link on each series schedule titled “Event Info” that explains everything.

It’s at usacracing.com. It has times, payout, tire rules, etc., etc.

30 cars is three heats. 31 and over is four heats.

Thank You for this! Now I wish I had a printer! I don't know how many times some fan has asked me in the stands how USAC does this! It's like trying to teach Chinese for Christ's Sake !!!!!! (and no, I don't know Chinese!)

Let's go Racing. I am really pulling for Justin Grant to win a Sprint Car Title!

I put this on a spread sheet and I will up load a pdf or the original excel.

How do I attach a pdf or excel to this thread?

Feel they should go back to 28+ cars you get 4 heats.
