Pretty decent place. Stayed there a few years ago. They have an indoor playground/pool deal.

Derek,

The new Holiday Inn is across the street from the Coliseum...and was just finished this year. It is 4 star quality.

You are thinking of the Fundome at I-69 and Coliseum Blvd. That place has had bad reviews and I dropped it off our suggested hotels.

What happened to The Holiday Inn that is downtown on Washington Blvd.

I liked staying there, because the 412 Club across the street was a neat place to hang out and less than a block walk back to the hotel.

I heard a rumor that during the intermission at "The Rumble" in Ft. Wayne there will be a Bozo "The Clown" look-alike contest sponsored by "The Rueben Brothers". I also heard rumors that the judges would be Dave Rudisell, Bob Clauson, Aero, and Pine. Can anyone confirm this?

They built a new Holiday INN right across the street from the Coliseum. The old holiday inn downtown is now ran by another company or individual. Their is a marriott right down the street from the 412 club.. If you are coming into stay you may want to book a room now as 40,000 plus people as of last night were with out power in allen county with many staying in hotels and talk of more ice tonight. YAY.
