Fast Wing Sprints I think Jack would have had something to day about last nights WoO official incident in the work area Go See him and the racing if you can. He's almost always there unless there's a wedding or something.

Great field of cars for both winged and nonwinged and a pack grandstand, can't ask for anything more than that.

I have been critical of Waynesfield these last few years because the track simply does not hold up to two classes of sprint cars whether it be wing/ non-wing or 410/360 or whatever, the track usually goes rubber down with about ten laps to go in the first feature and it is a train for the second. I must say that Saturday night I thought the track held up as well as I have ever seen, they even took some time to knock down the tricky cushion and made it a racy cushion.
Kudos to the staff for this, especially with the weather we have been having lately. I wish The Field would race more as it is only 1/2 an hour from my house but I will take what I can get, I would love to see USAC run there sometime but I just don't think it would get the support here in Ohio unfortunately. |
