7/1/22 2:07 PM HANFORD & TULARE USAC/CRA SPRINT CAR RACES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED*
http://usacracing.com/news/sprint-ca...been-cancelled ![]() HANFORD & TULARE USAC/CRA SPRINT CAR RACES HAVE BEEN CANCELLED* By Lance Jennings JULY 1, 2022 AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Director Tony Jones has announced that the Friday, July 8th event at Hanfords Keller Auto Speedway and the Saturday, July 9th show at Tulares Thunderbowl Raceway have been cancelled. Due to all of the circumstances that we have been plagued with for the last 2 years with the tire shortages, fuel prices, and now we are dealing with a water shortage particularly in the Central Valley, we regret to inform you that the July 8th (Hanford) and 9th (Tulare) races will be cancelled. If the promoters cannot get enough water on those tracks, the more tires we will burn up and as you know we cannot afford doing that. Enjoy your time off and have a safe 4th of July weekend. See you at Santa Maria on August 6th, remarked Jones.* The recently added event at the Santa Maria Raceway (Santa Maria, California) on August 6th will be the next event for the wingless 410 sprint cars. The winged California Lightning Sprints, IMCA Sport Mods, and Dwarf Cars will join the card.* The AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car Series thanks BillsJerky.net, Factory Wraps, Floracing.com, Flowdynamics Incorporated, The Gardner Family (In Memory of Jim and Chet Gardner), Hoosier Racing Tires, Laserworx Manufacturing, Woodland Auto Display, BR Motorsports, Competition Suspension Incorporated, Extreme Mufflers, In Memory of Shawn McDonald, Rod End Supply, Saldana Racing Products, Vahlco Wheels, and Wilwood Disc Brakes for their support. P.S. I really don't care who's in charge, It seems to me the place has been mismanaged for the last forty years or so. to the point of not even wanting to visit.

Drought has been a problem for several years , not much new there. Poor managed water from the north is canaled south through the valley so it can be pumped over the mountain to LA . All political.
