I hope your all having a great Memorial Weekend and havent forgotten why we get to see all this amazing racing. Maybe I'm partial bc of living and growing up 3 miles or less for all 39 years of my life, but damn is Kokomo Speedway special or what? Driving by year round working, going to friends houses, helping farmers nearby the track during planting and harvest seasons, driving by all winter when everything is covered in snow and ice, seeing the track and property during all the seasons, but FINALLY mother nature didnt destroy a race at home and Kokomo ran for the first time in 2022 with the BC Double!! Ironically, the very race that got me back into racing in May of 2017, after a near 25 year absence!! Again maybe it's just me, but pulling in, seeing the big KG grain building that no other track has next to it, all the tailgating, all the campers, the flags flying, everything mowed, everything in such great shape, The O'conners and their entire staff really do an outstanding job!! Outside of marquee events, USAC, AllStars, WoO, etc, there was more campers yesterday/last night then I've seen at any race yet this year. People everywhere, huge crowd, the place was packed, really good car counts in all 3 divisions, track in outstanding shape, all 3 divisions really putting on great racing, on a Sunday night at that, wow it's awesome to be at home again!! Maybe some of you feel this way about a specific track, and I've heard Haubstadt is very special as well which I havent been to yet but will this year, but for me it just doesnt get any better then The Kokomo Speedway, by far best track I've ever been to, Gas City and Eldora close tie for 2nd haha!!

Last night was quite fun for sure. Track was juiced up and tricky all night.
