Morgan County, Anyone???

:nonwingfan:I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything further from Morgan County about what they are doing next year. Are they going to stick with Friday nights since Danville is running Saturdays?? Just wondering what everyone had heard. I know Billy West reads this board some so maybe we can get it from the promoters mouth.
Still daydreaming about April. Happy Holidays to everyone...... |

I'm sure we'll be hearing some news soon, especially with the Illinois State Fairgrounds Midwest Speed Expo coming up in a few weeks. |

Hey, illiNOISE, some of us old farts are just impatient. I'm setting here looking at snow on the ground, hoping for anything which will remind me that racing season is right around the corner (OK, OK, maybe not right around the corner, but coming sometime). I want schedules and I want them now.
Seriously, your point is well taken. However, better that people are asking than not caring. Do you have a date for the Midwest Speed Expo? Frank Daigh |

Not being impatient at all. Just bored so I thought I would ask. No harm in asking is there?? Whatever they do we will be there to support them. I was really impressed with how they treated all of us last year. Not to mention fun little track.
On a separate note the new website for Vermillion county looks pretty good. They seem excited about weekly sprints. |

Some of us need to be buying parts for the 2009 season. This depends on what nights
and what classes the nearest tracks are running. We hope to be racing mostly without the wings. Track schedules will determine if we build a new 50" front axle or 53". Then there are torsion bars, shocks and so on. Yeah, maybe a little impatient. ![]() Here is an email reply I got from Billy West November 25th about what's happening @ Morgan County in 2009: Quote:
