Can I assume the Bailey micros are the 600 mini sprint division? Looking to purchase a car, wanting to talk to different teams, for information about cost and rules etc. Thank you

Micros are always 600 offset chassis; there's a lot of confusion about what a "Mini Sprint" is but traditionalists (a.k.a. old farts like me) commonly refer to cars with upright chassis (driver behind engine), 13" wheels, and usually 1000cc-and-up powerplants as Mini or Lightning Sprints.

So if I'm understanding you correctly, 600 are mini sprints and the 1000c.c are know as lightning division or lightning sprints?

600 are Micro Sprints but are often referred to as Mini Sprints, incorrectly so in the opinion of many. 1000's are more correctly referred to as Mini Sprints. Someone came up with the name "Lightning Sprint" for 1000's a while back in an attempt to assuage those who insist on calling Micros Minis but it hasn't really helped. The primary sanctioning body in Indiana for 1000cc uprights is the MMSA, or Midwest Mini Sprint Association, so there's that...

Thank you for clarifying. In your opinion, think there are more micros out there or mini sprints?
