FAST at Wayne County Speedway Saturday June 27

After an unprecedented spring, the Ti22 Performance FAST on Dirt winged 410 sprint car tour is ready to get underway at Wayne County Speedway this Saturday night. $3,000 awaits the winner of the 30 lap main event which features a $12,500 total payout with $300 to start the main event.

In addition to the standard FAST main event purse, heat race cash will be provided by Ti22 Performance, NAPA Auto Parts of Fremont, Hoosier Racing Tires and Helms & Sons Excavating & Construction. Heat races will pay the top four finishers $40, 30, 20, 10. There will also be three cash bonus awards. Accu-Force Dynos & Testers of Millersburg, Ohio will provide a $50 cash bonus to the "hard luck" award winner. The Bridge Restaurant of Sidney, Ohio will pay a $50 bonus to the main event "hard charger". Finally, All Star Performance of Watervliet, Michigan will provide a $50 product certificate for the "sweet move" award winner.

For teams competing, remember, there are no entry fees or membership fees with FAST. Cars must run flat top wings with a maximum wickerbill of 2 inches. All cars must be on 4 Hoosier Racing Tires. The left rear must be the "H" series while the right rear can be the "H" or "Medium". Transponders and Raceceivers are required. Transponders can be rented from Wayne County Speedway for $20.

If there are 30 cars or less, we will run 3 heats. We will draw into heat race groups and you will time trial, 2 cars at a time, against your heat race group. If there are 31 cars or more, we will run 4 heats and cars will draw into group A or B. Group A will time against one another and be staggered into heats 1 and 2 while group B will time against each other and be staggered into heats 3 and 4. Heat races will see an invert of the fastest 4 in each heat. The heat race winner and the fastest qualifier IN THAT HEAT who TRANSFERS, will go to the redraw. So the front 6 (or 8) from the main event will redraw for starting spots, the balance of the field will line up by heat finishes with the B-Main transfers filling out the field.

There WILL be a 2020 points fund for FAST on Dirt. We are trying to finalize some adjustments to the schedule. With the uncertainty of this entire season, we will have to prorate the payout based on the number of events completed. Ti22 Performance, Hoosier Racing Tire and ALL of our other sponsors have pledged support on a prorated basis. We will announce how that will work by Thursday night.

For this Saturday, gates will open at Wayne County at 3 pm. We will begin hot laps and qualifying at 6 with racing set for 7 pm. Adult general admission is $17 with kids 12 and under free. Pit passes will be $30. Please follow us on Facebook and/or Twitter for race day updates!
