Why wasn't the scoreboard in the infield utilized when the USAC midgets ran at Lawrenceburg, but was used when the sprint cars ran?
My friend and I each decided we would like to have a NOS energy drink, which is offered at all the tracks by the series sponsor, right after all the qualifying and other preliminary events had completed but before the national anthem, etc. had been performed. I was told they were near the front gate. After having no success finding them, I asked an employee for help. She informed me they had run out and had left the grounds. She also informed me that they were only allowed to be there for two hours. Is this an official policy? I believe the series sponsor remained present with their product throughout the evening at the other tracks.

USAC’s scoring equipment did not have the necessary program installed to be compatible with the tracks scoreboard. I operated the scoreboard manually during midget qualifications.

Ron I also went looking for the Nos truck . and was informed that it was only allowed to be on the grounds for 2 hours. Seems to me not a good way to treat the series sponsor, if I had anything to do with Nos energy drink I'd think twice before returning to the burg. I know at all the other midget tracks Nos truck was there almost all night as they should be. Needed something to wash all the dust down.

I asked walkapedia and 2010 was the last time and a Keith kunz midget did not win a midget week race. DD and Henry Clarke were the two entered for midget week
