Having just watched to 2005 ISW Terre Haute show on the USAC 24/7 Channel. I do like the look of the track configuration with the the inside of the of turns being pushed out a little.
Is there a reason why the Action Track no longer uses this configuration? And when did they stop preparing the track in that fashion.

Just a guess, but I think due to heavy rain during this week they pushed a good amount of "muck" down to the inside guard rail for this event. Again, just a guess.

I lliked it better when the pits were on the front strait. You could watch the crews doing their thing.
