In this weeks AARN, a columnist reports that it looks like the 2009 USAC swing will look like Tues Grandview Speedway, Wed Wm Grove Speedway, Thurs Big Diamond Raceway, Friday off, and a new twist has Hagerstown Speedway off the sked and Mercer Speedway and Lernerville Speedway added for over the weekend for the teams on their way back home....I'm curious, what does everyone think?

At this rate, the Sprint Car schedule might end up as 5 weeks of racing with 6 races a week.

I don't think anyone really liked Hagerstown, which is too bad, it looks like a good place for Sprint Cars.

Hagerstown was great last year. Maybe a little sketchy, but when they got it wet, it was a great race track.

I'm not exactly sure what to think of Mercer, because it's been a while since I've seen a race there. I love Lernerville, though. Are you sure that they'll take Friday off, or are those races booked for Friday and Saturday? It seems stupid to go all that way out there and not race on a Friday night...

OK - I got it. The weekend before Perris we do Friday night at Houston Raceway Park, Saturday at Devils Bowl, and Sunday at OK City Fairgrounds. Then they're already on I-40 and can head right to California.

How about it Mr. Miller?

HRP works for me. It is our "home" track for the modified. Nice, wide and really, a beautiful facility, along the lines of Lawrenceburg (but without that cool new banking). I think that it is the only race track, or at least short track, that I have ever been to that has paved pits.

Oh, well I haven't been to that one. Are they still running any events there?
