For all of my friends that I have discussed this with, Jim G, Tom from Eldora and Hartford, Rich, Derrick, Chuck, Scott, & Bob (of mudclod fame), whether it be on line or in person at the track, I had my required surgery yesterday. All went as well as it could have they tell me. I am now at home for a few weeks relaxing and am in very little pain actually, but there is some healing to do along with some serious light duty. Everything that did not belong inside of me has now been taken out.

And for everyone else here who knows me, the news above is for you, also. I just opted not to tell you up front. I just wanted to wait until it was good news.

I'll start catching up with all of you come next April-ish. That is good news, too.

Thanks for all of the well wishes, guys. I failed to thank all up front in my first post here.

I am a very lucky man. Heck, before all of this was discovered and rectified, I would have said the same thing anyways.
