I sincerely hope that SOMEONE legitimate purchases this property and continues to operate it as a racing facility. I attended my first drag race at the drag strip there (watched the Stone, Woods & Cook vs. the Mazmanian Bros. Willy’s Gassers match race) and I’d like to think a GOOD promoter could make a go of the dirt track. It would be sad to see another racing facility become a housing development.
