Winning the Oval Nationals at the PAS was nice for Jesse, but with a 3-day 2-class event at Manzy, that win doesn't mean $hit. Jesse started off the 41st Western World on the "right" :O: foot, winning both his heat and the 20 lap feature event. Luck was on his side tonight, with the "roll of the dice" as Jesse rolled a 1 to put him on the pole of the feature. That's about all he needed, leading every lap and winning by several car lengths without any serious challenges from the rest of the pack. Great job Jesse, keep it up the next couple days....in both divisions. Also, great runs from Lil Shu and Chargin Charles coming from the back to finish in the top 5. I believe Sherminator made his was up near the top 5 too, bad luck for him tonight. Go get 'em again tomorrow Rocket!

Top 5 were:
Jesse Hocket Gary Taylor Nathan High Casey Shuman Jeremy Sherman Charlie was in top 5, but broke steering arm put him out in last few laps. A good race, Hocket started from the poll, but High, Shuman and Sherman and Davis were way in the back on the start. |
