Great idea, but with no engine guidelines or rules and no weight sounds like money will really make the winner in that division. I do like the idea though.

Does this mean I can use a V-8 motor from a "Boss Hogg"?

Thats only what some want!
Others propose a weight rule be established for a non wing upright mini sprint either max 640cc or a max of 1000cc and there was also the possibility of a non wing 305 bone stock class like French Grimes has in Virginia and is very cost effective so lets hear some feed back.

Great Idea, but have to agree with out any weight rule or motor rule you are looking at guys droping some major money into mini-sprints. I would love to be able to race my mini with out a wing and wish they woudl get that idea here in Indiana. Rule may need a little tweeking but in all sounds like an excellent idea

I like the 305 sprint idea, If a track in southern ohio would commit to this class and monitor the engine rule I think it could very successful, stick with it a couple of years to let the car count grow, not give up like K-C and portsmouth did the 305 wing class a few years ago, If 35 could team up with Moler might enhance the growth potential of this class, Look at the car counts at Attica (fri) and Fremont (sat.) in northern ohio after several years of sticking with the 305 wing cars.

35 is to small for sprint cars but would be perfect for non wing mini sprints.Great bull ring racing. Why would anyone run a wing on a 120hp midget which is the existing class they run

Tony could make the track a little bit bigger and it would work fine for both classes, then he would have something no other track has in southern ohio.
I like both classes of cars, less expensive racing, more exciting and entertaining. |

We can race sprints on 35 we go over to Jacksonville Illionois about 40 miles from my house and that is a 1/5 mile narrow track no I would not want 24 of us out there but if he only started 18-20 max it would be big enough some of you are from only those big wide open $$$$ wins race tracks that little bull ring would make us all better drivers it is one nice 1200 track we were there once this year. Bill is he going to make it bigger?.
