I don't think another series is healthy for the sport overall. There's x amount of cars, and dividing them amongst y number of tracks, plus one more now, I don't think is the way to go.

Well, this is western PA, not Central PA or Ohio. I think the idea behind this is to give the guys in that area a fairly steady diet of halfway decent shows, while not having one track try to carry the load on Saturday nights. Mercer and Tri City had weekly sprint shows about 10 years ago, and they didn't pay great and they didn't have great car counts. I see this as a way to keep 410's viable in the region. I don't know how many tracks they plan on running, but I am guessing those 2, along with PPMS and maybe some Lernerville dates. If they don't run Friday shows they won't step on Lernerville, and maybe the sanctioning body will help Mercer and Tri City get consistent car counts. Right now I think it is a crap shoot for a promoter out there to schedule a show. I hope it works out and gets a few more cars on the track in that region. If anyone watched the Outlaw shows at Lernerville this year, they had no one picking up where Ed Lynch and Rod George left off. AJ Flick seems to be getting there, but he has started towing to Port Royal to race for the bigger money on Saturdays. I imagine he would like something closer to home.
