We are currently at/near I-30 Speedway at the Short Track Nationals and was surprised to see the Hoffman Racing hauler parked near other sprint cars. Does anyone have any idea if the Hoffmans sold their hauler or why their hauler would be at a winged 360 sprint car race in Little Rock, Arkansas??????

A wild guess, but it's probably mechanic Dan Launderville, who took a slight detour to either watch the STN's, or possibly help someone racing down there, before heading out west next week??

Very Doubtful,that it is in fact,the Ole' red Top Kick type hauler belong'n to "HAR" team,on their way to Perris Oval Natls. Via L.R.,Ar, to p/u some easy Travl. cash at da Short Track Natls.(not that easy)...Mite just be P/u point(person/parts)??...but awayz outa the way for head'n West from Ohio...and don't think da 'CoonDog' likes run'n with da ROOF!!........Last year, with WoO at his two home tracks,did not go well!!...even with his talent!!..or mabe they'll put his "Good Buddy" Stenhouse,Jr. in da car!!.Ha!Ha! ........Brucer'.....just noticed rescent post!!

Hell, as hot as Coondog's been, maybe they threw a napkin holder on, and a 360 in and take a shot at that $15,000 to pay their expenses for the west coast swing....

Keith....you are correct..former HAR employee Jake Simmons and his dad are running there tonight and Sat. Dan left early to give them a hand.

Umm, actually Rob, Im here in LR. I got someone to loan me a wing and a motor. Dan and I are welding the last wing spud on right now. See ya next week in CA.

During the televised Slick 50 winter series wang races at Manzanita years ago Jerry was one of the few local guys who regularly made the main events which were mostly made up of WoO/Knoxville/PA regulars. Seem to remember it being a #12 car. He ran pretty good for someone who doesn't like wangs.

I knew I should have gone with Dan to keep an eye on you Coondog!
