Lucas Oil Southern States Midgets Series and Southern Outlaw Motorsports would like to welcome the young sensation from St. Petersburg Fl., TYLER CLEM. Tyler at the age of 15 already has wins in a dirt latemodel, a dirt modified, a winged sprint, and has been part of the toughest competition in a non wing USAC sprint at Indiana Sprint Week. With all this we need to get some midget racing under his belt before the 2019 Chili Bowl. Darrin and Wayne Davis have been asked to help with his development. Davis has been influential in others development and feel he can help Tyler along with his. Tyler will be in a pre-owned Stewart spike and will be fielded by Augie Burttram of BIG FROG MOTORSPORTS and Wayne Davis of Southern Outlaw Motorsports. Clem will have races throughout the south with the Lucas Oil Southern States Midget Series along with racing D-2 USAC events with the Illinois Midget Racing Association - IMRA and USAC Midwest Midget Thunder Series up north this summer.
