MAY 28TH - LAWRENCEBURG SPEEDWAY - WORLD OF OUTLAW SPRINTS

The World of Outlaw Craftsman Sprint Car Series is set to make its annual visit to the Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Ind., on Monday, May 28th for the Memorial Day Spectacular presented by KOI Auto Parts.

Donny Schatz, the nine-time and defending Outlaw champion from Minot, ND, is the current point leader over Brad Sweet and David Gravel after wins in eight of the nineteen Outlaw features held so far this season.

Schatz has found considerable success on the 3/8th mile high banks of the Lawrenceburg Speedway. He is one of only three drivers (including Daryn Pittman and Joey Saldana) to start each of the eight Outlaw features held there, amassing three wins, three thirds, a sixth and eleventh place finish.

While Schatz may have had the most success there over the last decade, it is Shane Stewart who has been on a hot streak as of late. Stewart has now won two in a row at the Burg after outdueling his car owner, NASCAR star Kyle Larson, in what many called the best World of Outlaw feature of 2017. Stewart also has a pair of runner-up finishes (2013 and 2015) to go along with an eighth-place finish in 2014.

Tickets will be available on race day beginning at 4:00 pm when the front gate opens. Visa, Master Card and Discover are accepted at the main front gate entrance, souvenir stand, and concession stands. The turn four entrance gate is cash only.

This event features Reserved Seating in the main front stretch grandstand with General Admission seating in the grandstands located in turns one and two.
