Pretty cool. I think Pet owners and racers have a natural bond because they share the mentality of it’s just money therefore it’s worth it. And yes, pets are family members too! the PAS announcement is just a bonus.

I attended his driving school three years ago (I was 72 at that time ) and drove 100 laps in Sprint car & Midget ..He was very friendly and took a great interest in me...even watered the track twice ...I did have on a Dave Darland shirt ..not sure if that helped or not ....He invited me to his shop the next day ..I went ...very nice shop with more Sprints & Midgets ..also met his wife that has a kitty shelter of sorts in the front of the shop ..Very nice woman .. Very nice family ....
