USAC MOURNS PASSING OF BAILEY SCHWEITZER

USAC is heartbroken to learn of a death in our racing family.* Twenty-year-old Bailey Schweitzer, daughter of the Schweitzer family who owns Bakersfield (Calif.) Speedway, passed away Sunday, Oct. 1, when a gunman opened fire into a crowd of spectators attending a Las Vegas country music festival.* Among Bailey’s roles at Bakersfield Speedway included scorekeeping, social media updates and recording video of each event.* USAC extends its deepest condolences to the Schweitzer family as well as all the families affected in this terrible tragedy.
