I am looking to complete my schedule through the end of the year and am looking for information on the Du Quoin midget race. I have not seen much about it yet, Speed Shift TV has a tentative date for December 16th, but would like to know if this is set in stone?
Thank You
Edit: They had this date on the schedule as of a couple of weeks ago. It is gone completely now.
If they have the December one this year hopefully it is on a different date than the big late model and mod show at the dome in St Louis. That thing went well last year and might draw 20,000 or more on Saturday night this year.
There is no mention of the December Du Quoin event on the USAC National Midget schedule or the non-fair events calendar on the Du Quoin State Fair website.
I can't hardly believe that the December event won't happen. The car count was great and the crowd last year and the year before was phenomenal.

Thanks for the clarification. Very glad it's going to happen again this year. The Christmastime race at Du Quoin is a show that we look forward to every year.
It's odd that it isn't on the USAC National Midget schedule or the fairgrounds listings of events.
