From what I've seen, those dates are correct.

Could possibly gets guys for Wednesday or Thursday but USAC Sprints have shows on Friday and Saturday. Midgets on the other hand, I bet the Kunz cars among many others will be there would be my guess.
If memory serves me correct, Illinois Speed Week usually has great car counts with the midgets. A week before Indiana Midget Week too so I bet guys are going to want to knock some rust off and get dialed in for that.

With the Illinois deal, running right into Indiana midget week, that's a lot of midget racing in a short time frame. I wonder how one will affect the other? Will some sit out one for the other? We'll see. I wish I could be at opening night Wednesday at Joliet, but this darn job thing keeps getting in the way. However I'm off Tuesday which will probably be my first visit to Montpelier for night one of Indiana midget week. Hopefully both series are well supported and treats us to some fantastic racing!

I know he isn't a USAC guy but Michael Pickens from New Zealand is running both Illinois and Indiana midget weeks this year.

Find a purpose in life ..... Be a bad example

Here's my two cents, Both series has a decent following of fans for midget and USAC sprint weeks.
They should be running for higher purses that support multi nights of racing. Most will still be in the red but at least more could get a motor rebuild and less drain out of the overal budget for doing so.

I know, Opinions.

Rico posted that he is running with Keith Kunz this weekend & next week so I assume that means he is doing the PowrI & USAC midget weeks. Tanner Thorson posted something to the effect that he is running also.

I'm curious as to the non wing sprint counts at Fairbury & Jacksonville also. Planning to hit both of those shows. Would suspect some midget guys will do double duty & run non wing also.
