why does poweri year after year schedule races on the same dates in the area of long established races ????????

Yep. Used to be that pretty much every midget sanctioning organization in the whole country sanctioned the Belleville Nationals. We all know that no longer happens.

Entitlement personality is taking over society, and in turn, people who run entities such as racing organizations. People no longer are concerned with the "big picture" of promoting midget racing in general; just their little slice of it which they rule over.

(I'm in no way directing this at POWRi, but most everyone involved, in general. Of course, there are exceptions and exceptional people.)

A. Simply, Because they can. The majority of midgets are in IL, MO, WI and they have a base. While some of their top teams no doubt can run with anyone, anywhere. The majority aren't long haul traveling teams.
