My friend Dan Spence from Mobile, Alabama sent me a package of vintage photo prints in 2006. The photos were published in a local racing paper covering the 'World 300' for supermodifieds at Mobile International Raceway in Mobile, Alabama during the years 1966 -1968. One of those drivers was NASCAR veteran, champion and legend Bobby Allison from Hueytown, Alabama in the # 312 supermodified. :Steer

Have a good day...see you at the races :thumb

Bobby had a lot of experience in the "square" coupes. He was the 1962 & 1963 NASCAR Modified Special champion in that type of car - without the wing. It was in those cars that Bobby, Donnie, and Red Farmer started the "Alabama Gang".:thumb
