We are pleased to announce an exciting merger between two leading manufacturers of open wheel chassis and components. EMI has formed a strategic alliance with Rick Hench and Henchcraft Chassis, which will become the fourth major brand under the EMI umbrella. This merger will heighten our capabilities, expand our product offerings, enhance development, and increase our services.

Henchcraft will be relocating to EMI’s Lincoln, Nebraska-based manufacturing facility to continue producing the same Henchcraft product that customers across the globe have successfully used for over 25 years. Rick Hench, Henchcraft Chassis President, and lead fabricator, will join the team at EMI to collaborate on ideas and develop products that redefine the future of open wheel racing. “The passion, focus, and enthusiasm of the EMI staff match the Henchcraft approach,” Rick Hench said. “The EMI’s solid foundation will complement Henchcraft Chassis and ensure that our customers continue to receive the very best products and services.”

The transition will be complete May 28, 2014, when production at the new location will commence. Henchcraft manufacturing will be uninterrupted by this move so existing and new customers will continue to receive the same personal service they have come to expect from Henchcraft. In addition, Rick will be personally available to our entire customer base. Speedway Motors has also adopted Henchcraft products for distribution and available for immediate purchase.

We are looking forward to developing a new industry standard, and we invite you to challenge us to exceed your expectations of quality, service, and performance.
