Three years running, one of the most supportive partners of The National Speed Sport News 66 Mike Phillips Memorial has been Voyager Home Systems, as well as the entire Rosario family. Voyager owner Joey Rosario has been working in the electrical industry for a number of years, being a part owner of Enterprize Electric, established in 1992, operating for 4 years. Joey began to venture into Centralized Whole Home Lighting Control Systems, opening Voyager Lighting Controls in 1996, dedicated to the newer technology lighting control systems. The need and desire to control more than just lighting sparked an interest in Rosario, founding Voyager Home Systems in 2002, dedicating himself to specializing in the advanced control of, not only lighting but, heat, air, pools, televisions, security, phone systems, and more. Another great announcement for 2013 is the pre-entry of defending POWRi Micro Sprint Champion Joe B. Miller. The 22 year old from Millersville, MO has been busy lately, racing, not only his micro sprint in winged and wingless competition, but also a midget with the POWRi series as well as winged 360 and 410 sprintcars around the Midwest. With a respectable 10th place finish in last year’s event, Miller approaches The National Speed Sport News 66 Mike Phillips Memorial with more confidence than ever before, having a lot of success in the micro sprint throughout the last year and a half, as well as bringing in a new level experience after racing the bigger cars. Representing two partners of The 66 being behind his Speed Shack Performance powered Hyper chassis, look for Joe B. Miller to be up front at Belle-Clair Speedway this year, a track he has proven to excel at already, taking home the win with POWRi there this past May.

Also adding to the illustrious glory of winning The National Speed Sport News 66 Mike Phillips Memorial in 2013, thanks to McCreery Motorsports, is the opportunity to race a Midget at the October POWRi race at Belle-Clair Speedway! If the winner, for any reason, cannot or does not want to race the midget, it will be passed on to the next finisher until claimed. Just one more reason why The 66 is the race to win!
