The local Swifty (Milford, Ohio) dropped another 5 cents to 3.62 this morning and if you pay cash they give you another 3 cents off per gallon. Any relief in the Hoosier State?

Last Friday here in the Redbud City the price was $4.19 per gallon. That evening in Toledo, OH it was $3.53 per gallon. Why?
Today it is $3.83 here which is a 36 cent difference in five days. Normally they only come down a penny or two at a time but the increases are usually 20-30 cents at a time. What was the excuse this time for pricing to be over $4.00?

Still $3.80, here in Seymour, In, home of Swifty! Doesn't seem like they need an excuse to do anything with gas prices, supply and demand doesn't apply, when they want to move the price up or down, they just do it, you got to have it, you'll pay, simple economics! Bob

Isn't it amazing how if we found gas at $3.25/gal. we'd think about what a great deal it was? People get conditioned to paying around $4 so getting bludgeoned at 50 cents or so less doesn't seem so bad. The price of oil has really shot up the price of living as so many products are oil-based and now it cost so much to transport these products to market. Our economy is still adjusting to these higher fuel prices as they have a huge negative effect on any economic recovery.
