I was combing through a box of old race photos this evening, and ran across this photo. The only thing it says on the back is the date 4/21/74. I was wondering if anyone knows this car or driver of the car during this crash @ Winchester? Any help would be great. Thanks!!

The car is the Jones Sprinter. Not sure of the driver, but MIGHT be Johnny Parsons Jr.

I think Charlie Masters drove that car occasionally as well. Can't tell for sure.

If that is the Bob Jones Radiator Sprinter out of North Vernon, IN, that car was my very first ride in a sprint car. It was #34 when I drove it at Lawrenceburg.

thanks for sharing your memories guys. I was wondering, seeing as the photo is dated, is there a place online you can go to look at old usac archives, and maybe see who was driving this day? push comes to shove i will head down to good ole' USAC headquarters and see what I can find out. thanks again.

Being that this is a black and white photo - If I remember correctly, the car was orange with black numbers?
